More than 60 all-around and 73 70-&-Over exhibitors hit the ground running August 23 on the first day of the 2013 Adequan Select World Championship Show. Classes began at noon at the Amarillo Tri-State Fairgrounds, with preliminaries in cutting followed by finals in performance halter stallions, performance halter geldings and performance halter mares.

The world champion in cutting was crowned by noon of the second day of the show. The rest of Day 2 was full of preliminaries in boxing, working cow horse and team penning. Day 3 will start with the preliminaries in ranch sorting, as well as a Nutrena Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern Trail Clinic.
