Larry Hill avoided a traffic jam as he splashed to his first career win Wednesday night in the $33,300 Les Bois Maiden Frolic at Les Bois Park.

Three horses were disqualified for interference after a bumpy start, but jockey Alan Corson steered Larry Hill down the inside rail to a length win over Last Chancer. Finding Meno was moved from sixth to third after a three-horse disqualification for interference.

Mark Hanson saddled Larry Hill for owner Ben McKinney. He completed the 350 yards over a muddy course under rain showers in :17.830. The 3-year-old TR Dasher gelding, bred in California by Steve Burns DVM, earned $14,985, pushing his career earnings mark past $22,500. He is out of the Chicks Beduino mare Ynot Bar.
