Fernando and Karla Machado have announced their Grade 1 sire The Chocolate Rocket has been purchased by Reginaldo Moura da Silva, an entrepreneur in the clothing industry. The stallion will be stand at Moura da Silva's ranch near Teresina, Piauí Brazil.

A Grade 1 sire in the U.S., The Chocolate Rocket has sired nine winners, with average earnings of more than $20,700, from a limited number of starters. His get include Los Alamitos Winter Derby (G1) winner A Mere Chocolate SI 97 ($175,710), Los Alamitos Maiden Stakes winner Brooklyn Boy SI 99 ($64,207), Rockin Chocolate SI 105 ($28,970), Jo Jos Rocket SI 101 ($25,743), Supa Chocolaterocket SI 92 ($22,344), etc.

A son of leading sire Corona Cartel, The Chocolate Rocket won or placed in five races and was a finalist in the Grade 1 Golden State Futurity and Grade 1 Southern California Derby. His dam, Taken To Task, by Takin On The Cash, is the dam of Grade 3-placed Theworldiswhatumakit SI 102, a full brother to The Chocolate Rocket. The second dam is a stakes-producing daughter of Fol's Native (TB).
