The Los Alamitos division of the Race Track Chaplaincy of America raised $30,355 during its auction held in conjunction with the Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Racing Association’s Awards Banquet. The event is the Los Alamitos RTCA chapter's biggest fundraiser of the year and the money goes toward promoting annual fellowship and Christian programs for the backside and frontside employees at Los Alamitos.

This year's auction featured breedings to several noted stallion headed by the exciting young stallion Carters Cartel generously donated by Double Bar S Ranch. Breedings to freshman stallion One Sweet Jess plus young stallions No Secrets Here and Tac It Like A Man and champion Hawkinson all sold extremely well as part of the silent auction.

An autographed authentic race-used jockey boot signed by over 20 of the top Quarter Horse riders in the sport sold for $1,600, while a “Ski Utah!” vacation, a luxury suite at Staples Center and an original Ginny Harding commission brought a combined $4,100 as part of the live auction portion of the festivities. Track Magazine and Speedhorse packages, Disneyland tickets, Lakers tickets, PBR tickets, a day at the races at Santa Anita, a night in a Remington Park Suite, StallioneSearch.com annual enrollment fee and a www.bearsbestgetaway.com package were just a few of the other items also sold.
