The Kristopher Cordova-owned and -trained Heza Wild Dragon raced to a win in the $356,980 Mountain Top Futurity (R) this weekend at Ruidoso Downs and notched a place on the AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Top 10 Poll.

Heza Wild Dragon, a $15,000 sale purchase last year, is now undefeated in two starts and has earned $152,053. He entered the rankings at No. 10. Heritage Place Futurity (G1) winner Big Biz Perry dominates the rankings again this week. Expect a possible shakeup after the Ed Burke Million Futurity (G1) on Sunday.

In the older horse rankings, Los Alamitos Winter Championship (G1) winner Rylees Boy continues to lead the voting, with Remington Park Invitational Championship (G1) winner Priceless Feature hot on his heels. The closely ranked 3-year-olds Brace For Bernal and Wicked Courage round out the top four in voting.

Deniro, who earned the fastest time in the Vessels Maturity (G1) trials on Sunday, finished just outside the rankings. That may change after the final of the race, set for July 7.
