Heritage Place will kick off its 34th Annual September Quarter Horse Yearling Sale Thursday at the Heritage Place Sales Pavilion in Oklahoma City. Seven hundred eight-nine yearlings have been cataloged for the three-day event, September 20–22.

"We are extremely excited about this year’s sale. The catalog is very strong and some of the best horses and breeders from throughout the country will be on hand for the sale this week," Spence Kidney, Heritage Place Director of Operations said on Monday.

Heritage Place and AQHA will host the annual Pre-Sale Party on Wednesday (September 19) from 5 to 7 p.m. (CDT). The public is invited to attend.

The sale will begin promptly at 10 a.m. with hips 1 through 263. Friday's session featured hips 264 through 527 and Saturday's session includes hips 528 through 789. The auction also starts promptly at 10 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Immediately following Friday's session the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association (OQHRA) will host a horseman's reception in the Heritage Place Restaurant and Club.

The sale will be again webcast this year and those people not in attendance can watch the sale by logging on to www.heritageplace.com.
