Eddie Cox rides Ms Jingles to win the Lee Berwick Memorial Futurity.
Veteran rider Eddie Cox is at home recovering for the next several months after sustaining two broken vertebrae in a spill that happened on June 21 at Delta Downs.
“The doctors have released Eddie from the hospital but he will remain in a neck collar for up to six months,” said Rhonda Cox, wife of Eddie Cox. “He has broken the T-2, and T-6 in his neck. There will no required surgery for the injury. We are very blessed, because it could have been a whole lot worse.”
Cox was aboard Jumpn Streaker in the second race at Delta Downs when, approximately 100 yards from the wire, the horse broke down.
