Grade 2 Hobbs American Futurity winner A Dream To Remember was unhurt Sunday afternoon, as well as jockey G.R. Carter, Jr., after suffering a fall going into the turn after she finished second in the Southwest Juvenile Championship(G1) at Zia Park.

"She collapsed shortly after the race but was able to get to her feet and load onto the ambulance," Tommy Goncharoff, manager of R.D. Hubbard's Crystal Springs Farm said on Monday.

"No injuries were observed though a post race endoscopic exam of her airway that revealed a considerable amount of mucous. The theory is that her breathing was compromised causing the collapse. Needless to say she's got a ton of heart and we're all greatly relieved. G.R. thought we were in for an easy victory until she became 'rubber legged' nearing the wire," he added.

The daughter of leading sire Corona Cartel will be shipped to Crystal Springs Farm, near Tularosa, New Mexico, in the coming days. Following a well-deserved rest, she will begin preparing for the Ruidoso Downs 2013 summer meet.

A Dream To Remember is out of the multiple stakes winning Thoroughbred mare Hallowed Dreams, winner of 25 of 30 starts and $740,144. The filly went 3-3-1 in eight starts this season while earning $205,302. She was also third in the All American Juvenile Invitational on Labor Day.
