Race Record: Conda Maze and Tyler Graham’s champion Kiss My Hocks lived up to high expectations in the third trial to the All American Derby (G1), cruising to win by a length as the 1-9 favorite. With G.R. Carter Jr. in the saddle for Toby Keeton, the sorrel colt by Tempting Dash has the fifth-fastest qualifying time of :21.547.

“I just wanted him to get away (from the gate) on his feet, let him relax and then I asked him to run,” said Carter, Quarter Horse racing’s all-time leading jockey. “He is such a professional and so much fun.”

The Tempting Dash colt scored his ninth win from 11 starts and has earned $1,145,861. The 2014 champion 2-year-old and champion two-year-old colt, Kiss My Hocks won the Sam Houston Futurity (G2) and Ruidoso Futurity (G1). He was second by a neck to Trendi in the Rainbow Futurity (G1), and then won his trial to the All American in a non-qualifying time.

Kiss My Hocks returned for his 3-year-old season with a throw-out performance in the May 24 trials Ruidoso Derby (G1). He then won the July 18 Rainbow Derby (G1) by a half-length in his final start before the All American Derby trials.

Breeder: Kiss My Hocks was bred in Texas by Graham and John Mayers.

Owner: Breeder Graham partnered with Conda Maze on ownership of the colt, and they were last year's champion owners. In addition to Kiss My Hocks, they also owned Grade 1 winner Lovethewayyoulie.

Trainer: Toby Keeton has trained the earners of more than $13.1 million since 1981, including Grade 1 winners like Mitowilard, Gol and Jody Pops Zoomer.

Jockey: The No. 1 all-time leading jockey, G.R. Carter Jr. has amassed $69.2 million in career earnings, including 3,784 wins and 362 stakes wins out of 23,825 starts.
