Junior Master Horseman is a non-breed-specific program. JMH provides parents, 4-H agents, FFA instructors and horse enthusiasts with the most comprehensive science-based resource available, developed specifically to engage young horsemen. The American Quarter Horse Association has underwritten the JMH program and is in charge of its development, marketing and distribution. Many other breed associations have supplied photos and information for the book.
Where Can It be Used?JMH can be used in a variety of situations including 4-H horse clubs, FFA classrooms, after-school programs, home-school programs, boy scouts, girl scouts and in almost any classroom! This program has been developed to be as versatile as possible. The McRel teaching standards have been outlined for each of the lessons. Standards in math, science and language arts are found throughout the program. It makes learning all subjects fun!

In addition, youth have the opportunity to sign up to receive regular newsletters and information from a variety of horse organizations and associations. The Level 1-3 books are complete with Level 4 scheduled to arrive soon. The book costs $14.95 each plus shipping and tax where applicable. For orders of 25 or more books, the cost goes to $10.95 per book.
