The Ford Youth World is August 3-11 at the State Fair Park in Oklahoma City and features the world’s top youth riders and their American Quarter Horses.

“We are excited about the number of entries attending this year’s Ford Youth World,” said AQHA President Gene Graves of Grand Island, Nebraska. “Everyone has worked hard to get here and AQHA wishes everyone the best of luck.”

The top five classes with the most entries include:

1.    Showmanship: 196
2.    Horsemanship: 188
3.    Hunt seat equitation: 161
4.    Trail: 159
5.    Ranch sorting: 136

The top five states with the most entries include:

1.    Oklahoma: 234
2.    Ohio: 215
3.    Texas: 202
4.    Colorado: 116
5.    Florida: 110

“With the large number of exhibitors attending this year’s show, AQHA is proud to offer a large range of hotels for competitors and guests,” said Graves. “We hope everyone takes advantage of our partner hotels and enjoys their stay in Oklahoma City.”

Exhibitors and guests can now book their stay in Oklahoma City at one of AQHA’s host hotels.

In addition to the regular Ford Youth World top-10 awards, AQHA will also recognize the top three 13-&-under and top-three Intermediate competitors in each class.
