AQHYA is now accepting nominations to compete in the new freestyle exhibition at this year's Ford Youth World.
Don’t miss the new freestyle exhibition at the 2013 Built Ford Tough American Quarter Horse Youth Association World Championship Show.
AQHYA is now accepting nominations from this year’s Ford Youth World exhibitors to compete in the Showmanship Freestyle Exhibition sponsored by Tommy Sheets on August 6 and the Horsemanship Freestyle Exhibition sponsored by Patty Vatterott on August 7.
Exhibitors will dress up and perform showmanship and horsemanship maneuvers to music they select. A panel of secret celebrity judges will score the competition.
A total of 22 exhibitors, two from each region, will be selected to compete in each of the exhibitions. Nominations are due by July 1. Nominees will pay a $5 fee to participate in the Showmanship Freestyle Exhibition drawing and a $5 fee to participate in the Horsemanship Freestyle Exhibition. If drawn to compete, a $70 entry fee will be required. The drawing will be held on July 5 and all participants will be notified by July 15.
Please mail the nomination form and $5 nomination fee to:
