The American Quarter Horse Association World Championship Show is the pinnacle event for American Quarter Horse owners and exhibitors around the world, who must qualify for the event by earning a predetermined number of points to compete in each of the classes representing halter, English and western disciplines. 

AQHA wants to make sure you have the information you need to keep your audience informed about the 2014 World Show happenings.

Members of the media must check in with the AQHA media office and request media credentials. Media credentials, if granted by World Show Management, must be worn prominently and at all times while on the World Show premises.

Promote Your Accomplishments

AQHA is proud of all your accomplishments in the show pen, and we want to do everything we can to offer you the tools to promote your horse, farm or ranch. Of course, we hope you celebrate your accomplishments in The American Quarter Horse Journal, but we also hope you use the resources below to send press releases to your local newspaper.

World Show News Releases

Simply download and update these Microsoft Word documents with your name, your horse's name and your accomplishment and email it to any newspaper, TV station, radio station or magazine*.

AQHA's publicity team will send a world champion press release and photo to the hometown newspaper of each world champion.

Editors may ask you to verify your accomplishments when you send your press release to your local newspaper. You can easily verify results at www.aqha.com/worldshow, and qualifiers can be verified through AQHA customer service at 806-376-4811.

Special Events
The 2014 AQHA World Show is looking to be an exciting event that you won’t want to miss. Show entries are up from last year and more than $2.5 million in awards and prizes is up for grabs at this year’s event. The show will feature a variety of new events and activities in and out of the arena for competitors, friends, family and spectators. Be sure to mark your calendar before traveling ot Oklahoma City!
