Barn Party

A buffet, beer and a band made the 2012 Adequan Select World Barn Party a success.

A live band capped the evening's festivities at the 2012 Adequan Select World Championship Show Barn Party.

The 2012 Adequan Select World Championship Show Barn Party, sponsored by the South Point Casino of Las Vegas (home of the SmartPak West Novice Championship Show), started off with a bang. An exhibition of cowboy mounted shooting that even included some AQHA staff members taking their first "shot" at the newly approved AQHA event kicked of the evenings festivities.

Barn Party guests then drifted out to the alley between the Amarillo National Center and the Bill Cody for a buffet of Mexican fare.

Once everyone was seated and eating, AQHA recognized the exhibitors who have been to all 10 AQHA Select World Championship Shows. You can see the 10-Year Exhibitors' photos in a separate slideshow.

After the awards, a band picked up the pace of the event and exhibitors visited and danced the evening away.
