Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern Clinics

AQHA Professional Horsemen will teach free Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinics sponsored by Nutrena at the 2012 Adequan Select World Championship Show.

Whether you’re a competitor or spectator, August 24 - September 1 in Amarillo is the place to be for free Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinics taught by AQHA Professional Horsemen at the 2012 Adequan Select World Championship Show.

At the free clinics, sponsored by AQHA Corporate Partner Nutrena, Professional Horsemen will demonstrate how exactly they would approach the class or pattern. Spectators have the chance to monitor and attend these demonstrations.

“The Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinics provide exhibitors and spectators the perfect opportunity to see exactly how these AQHA Professional Horsemen would approach the upcoming class or pattern,” said Tom Persechino, AQHA executive director of competition and breed integrity. “The clinics are interactive, offering a great opportunity for any horseman to glean a good bit of knowledge from some of the industry’s leading professionals.”

On deck to teach the clinics are:

  • Showmanship – Jenny Jordan of Denton, Texas
  • Western pleasure – Dave Dellin of Purcell, Oklahoma
  • Trail – Charlie Cole and Jason Martin of Pilot Point, Texas
  • Horsemanship – Robin Frid of Denton, Texas
  • Hunter under saddle – Deanna Searles of Scottsdale, Arizona

The first Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinics debuted at the 2011 AQHA World Championship Show in Oklahoma City.

Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinics will be offered at the other AQHA world championship shows: AQHA Corporate Partner Nutrena is sponsoring the Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinics at the 2012 Built Ford Tough AQHYA, Adequan Select, Bank of America Amateur and FedEx Open world championship shows.
