Qualify through your affiliate for the AQHA Novice championships.

Qualifying Period: January 1, 2014 - June 30, 2014

  • All Novice youth and Novice amateur exhibitors will earn state affiliate points at Minnesota Quarter Horse Association-approved shows.
  • Participants must be members in good standing with AQHA and MnQHA.
  • MnQHA will submit the top three point-earning exhibitors in each of the Novice classes for an invitation to the Novice Championship shows to AQHA.
  • Points will be compiled on a one-horse, one-exhibitor basis.
  • In the event of a tie, the exhibitor placing in the most shows will break the tie.
  • State points are awarded based on the number of horses in the class and the exhibitor placing. The maximum points earned in a class are nine. Listed below is how state points are awarded per the Novice Championship shows state qualifying system.
