Montana

Qualify through your affiliate for the AQHA Novice championships.

From AQHA: Each state or provincial affiliate will submit three state qualifiers per class to AQHA. If there are not three qualifiers in a particular class the affiliate may move that "slot" to another class; however, no more than six state qualifiers will be allowed in any particular class. 

The Montana Quarter Horse Association has set forth these requirements in order to exhibit at the AQHA Novice Championship shows:

  • Participants must be a member in good standings with the Montana Quarter Horse Association or Montana Quarter Horse Youth Association and also the American Quarter Horse Association.

  • State qualifying period:  July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014
  • Must be a top 3 point earner in any of the disciplines in all Novice (Amateur or Youth) classes. (exclusive of National qualifiers.)
  • In the event of a tie, the exhibitor placing in the most shows will break the tie.

 ***The Region 2 Show will continue to be a national qualifier for the AQHA Novice Championship Show.

 *** IT IS THE EXHIBITOR’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CONFIRM WITH AQHA AND/OR MQHA THAT THEY ARE QUALIFIED TO ATTEND.
