The National Snaffle Bit Association is excited to unveil a new program that will allow participating NSBA members to compete for an estimated $100,000 purse October 4-5 at Roberts Arena in Wilmington, Ohio.

The NSBA Riders Cup will operate in a similar fashion to the existing Breeders Championship Futurity, in that the purse is funded through participant nominations. To be eligible for participation, all trainers must be sold through NSBA's Trainer Sale program and each owner is required to pay $100 by August 1, or $150 after August 1. Owners must declare their nomination under the name of the sold trainer.

After all required nominations are complete, owners can make entries into any of the Riders Cup classes.

A portion of the income from the trainers sale will be used to sustain the NSBA Youth Smart Points program.
