Changes Coming to Oregon Summer Classic

The Oregon Summer Classic, one of the top-five AQHA circuits in the United States, unveils the addition of all-day fees, plus new events and awards.

The Oregon Quarter Horse Association is excited to announce some new changes to the 2014 Oregon Summer Classic Show, scheduled for 23-29 in Central Point, Oregon. 

The Oregon Summer Classic is the fourth-largest Quarter Horse show in the United States. To keep that edge, for 2014 OQHA is offering:

  • All-day fees
  • New awards
  • A Level 1 (Green) junior horse trail sweepstakes and a Level 1 (Green) junior western riding sweepstakes
  • National Snaffle Bit Association pleasure futurities
  • The Coyote Rock Ranch Timed-Event Shootout in Heading and Heeling
  • Twenty pairs of Rod Patrick boots to be given in random drawing 

Saddles will be awarded to the following all-around champions:  Level 1 (Novice) amateur, Level 1 (Novice) Select amateur, Level 1 (Novice) youth 13-&-under, Level 1 (Novice) youth 14-18, youth, amateur, Select amateur, open performance horse and open working Horse.
