Wallace and Cristy Heck announce the complete dispersal of Heck Yea! Quarter Horses in Terry, Mississippi, in an online auction January 29, with Mike Jennings of Professional Horse Services LLC

“This includes our two world champion stallions, A Legend At Last and Gangstah; more than 10 broodmares in foal; seven broodmares ready for February breeding; and our entire world-class halter-horse show-string. In all, nearly 40 horses will be sold,” Cristy said.

The Hecks will host two preview weekends at the farm, January 18-20 and January 25-27. All pedigree information, photos of each horse and owners’ notes will be on both www.ProHorseServices.com and www.HeckYea.com by January 10.  Go to www.ProHorseServices after January 10 to register for bidding.

Cristy added, “After nearly 15 years breeding American Quarter Horse halter horses, it is time for the Hecks to narrow their focus, concentrating on business operations in Baton Rouge, and spending more time on the water and on their boat, Heck Yea! There will still be time in the show ring for the Hecks, with longtime trainers and friends, Monte Horn Show Horses. The Horn’s continue to serve their customers in their barn adjacent to the Heck Yea! Quarter Horse breeding facility in Terry, Mississippi.”

This is a great opportunity to expand any halter horse program with lots of great pedigrees and producers. All open mares are being prepared for February breeding. An active breeding facility, Heck Yea! Quarter Horses, can offer breeding services should any new owner wish to have a mare bred before transport.

The Heck Yea! world-class halter-horse show-string includes Bar Hoppun, the 2007 Select weanling gelding world champion; Block Bustter, the co-reserve champion Reichert Celebration maiden yearling; and Heck Yea Ima Slugger, a Breeders Halter Futurity-nominated 2-year-old stallion.
