• American Trails

  American Trails is pursuing a national infrastructure of trails and greenways that serves a full range of activities. Through education, partnerships and timely information resources, American Trails promote the creation, conservation and broad enjoyment of quality trails and greenways that offer places of solace, health, fitness, recreation and transportation for all Americans.

• Equestrian Land Conservation Resource

  Equestrian Land Conservation Resource, now commonly known as ELCR, was founded in 1997 by a group of concerned horse people who recognized that loss of open land is the greatest threat to the future of equestrian sport, recreation and industry.

  ELCR has recognized that if equestrians are to be successful in the effort to stem the loss of open space, they must take two important steps:

  1. Embrace a land conservation focus by educating themselves with regard to key issues and processes related to land conservation, and by making land conservation a part of the mission of equestrian organizations.
  2. Establish partnerships with individuals and groups outside of their own equestrian constituency, particularly with those groups that represent the conservation community.

• National Forest Service

  Established in 1905, the Forest Service is an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture. The Forest Service manages public lands in the national forest and grasslands, which encompasses 193 million acres of land. This is equlvalent to the size of Texas. The mission of the USDA Forest Service is to sustain the health, diversity and productivity of the Nation’s forests and grasslands to meet the needs of present and future generations.

• Tractor Supply Company

  As the sponsor of STEP, Tractor Supply Company hopes to preserve riding trails for our customers, as well as stress the importance of environmental stewardship and land conservation for future generations. Tractor Supply’s partnership with the AQHA helps us build and strengthen relationships with equestrian groups and horse owners. It is important to us to support the lifestyle of our customers and future customers in the more than 850 communities in which we live and work. Our stores are focused on supplying the needs of recreational farmers and ranchers by providing a selection of health, care, growth and containment of horses, livestock and pets; a broad selection of agricultural products; and tools, hardware, and workwear.

• Tread Lightly

  Tread Lightly!, Inc. is a national nonprofit organization with a mission to proactively protect recreation access and opportunities in the outdoors through education and stewardship initiatives. The organization’s goal is to balance the needs of people who enjoy outdoor recreation with our need to maintain a healthy environment and it’s leading the way to help remedy current recreation issues.
