TF Featured Effort has racked up an impressive bankroll of $229,841 while racing exclusively in New Mexico, and on Sunday he proved again that Sunland Park is perhaps his favorite track in the state as he took the $50,000 KOFX-Radio Handicap (G2). The Louisiana-bred son of Feature Mr Jess also took the West Texas Derby (G3) and West Texas Maturity (G2) at Sunland.

In his latest victory, TF Featured Effort prevailed by three-quarters of a length with Raul Gutierrez aboard for trainer Jaime Dominguez. Bred by Tate Farms and owned by Heysol Howlet and Julieta Torres, the 5-year-old earned $30,000 for the win and improved his record to 20-6-3-5.

21 Partnership’s Pajarita Sita, a 4-year-old daughter of Pappasito who finished third in the West Texas Futurity (G1) at Sunland, closed for second. David Barrett’s homebred Mighty Famous Vic, a gelding by Mighty Invictus, got third. Favored Bet On Ballou, a two-time stakes winner last year, finished a troubled fourth.
