Rematch in Evergreen Distaff

Rematch set in Merial Evergreen Distaff Challenge.

August 9, 2012

Gary Chumbley’s homebred EZ Gamer and Dean Frey’s Just Cant Hide It are set for a rematch in the Merial Evergreen Distaff Challenge after they finished just a nose apart while setting the two-fastest qualifying times in their trial at Evergreen Park.

EZ Gamer (Game Patriot-Easy Verna by Georgias Easy) raced to the narrow win in :20.010, while Just Cant Hide It was given a :20.020 time for the 400 yards.

The John Harris-trained EZ Gamer scored her second win from four starts this year to go with a second-place finish and a third-place effort. The 4-year-old is a three-time stakes winner.

Just Cant Hide It (Make It Anywhere-Petite Azure by Band Of Azure) made her first start at the track in her trial and nearly came up with the win.

Owned by her trainer, Just Cant Hide It has posted each of her three wins at Los Alamitos. She won a maiden race and then a pair of conditioned allowance races while going up the class ladder.
