The top-two finishers in the Bugs Alive In 75 Stakes (R), Send A Candy Guy and Purr Country, are set for a rematch in the $20,000 Juvenile Stakes over 350 yards on Saturday at Fair Meadows.

Carl Pevehouse’s Send A Candy Guy (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Send The Guys Candy by Disco Jerry (TB)) came through as the 2-1 favorite in the Bugs Alive In 75 Stakes at Remington Park. The Clinton Crawford-trained colt rallied to get the half-length win in a sharp :15.285 for the 300 yards.

Before the Bugs Alive In 75 Stakes, Send A Candy Guy won his maiden in his Remington Park Futurity (R) trial and then was the fifth-place runner in the Remington Park Juvenile (R).

Gabriella Brogna’s Purr Country (Country Chicks Man-Purr D Cat by Pure D Dash) was sent off at 20-1 odds in the Bugs Alive In 75 Stakes and surprised with his second-place finish. He was moving up in class after a game neck win for a $10,000 claiming tag in the Remington Park maiden race.

Jesus R. Rodriguez-Najera’s Hiclass Vodka (Hiclass La Jolla-Newport Lily by Stoli) raced to a fifth-place finish in the $358,500 Oklahoma Futurity (G2) and returned to win his maiden by one-half length at Remington Park as the 3-5 favorite.
