Hector Lopez’s Gotta Run Miss dominated the three trials to the $194,380 Harrah’s Futurity (G3) and is set up as the probable favorite in the 300-yard finals on Saturday at Louisiana Downs.

Gotta Run Miss (Agouti-Miss True (TB) by Yes It’s True) exploded to a 3 3/4-length trial win. Her time of :15.537 was easily the top-qualifying mark. She is trained by Robert Meche.

Second-fastest qualifier Amazzing (Ragazzo-Kimbo Cartel by Corona Cartel) was timed in :15.914. Their time differential is the equivalent of about 2 1/2 lengths.

Owned, bred and trained by Jorge Haddad, Amazzing won her trial by a nose over Luis Miguel Albores-Gleason’s La Jolla Toll SA (Streakin La Jolla-Three Times The Toll by Tres Seis), who scored the fourth-fastest time of :15.920 for trainer Wendy Garcia.

Albores-Gleason and Garcia also placed third-fastest qualifier JMF Shazoomer (Shazoom-Jess Bingo Beth by Mr Jess Perry) in the futurity. The gelding won his trial by a neck, with a time :15.915.

La Jolla Toll SA and JMF Shazoomer will race as an entry.

Also on the Saturday program are older horses racing 400 yards in the $20,000 Streakin La Jolla Stakes.

Victoria Galindo’s King Casady (King Corona-High Top Casady by Casady Casanova) takes a big class jump after being favored in each of his latest three races and winning three of his latest four starts, each for a claiming price from $5,000 to $10,000. The Robert Meche-trained horse is 9-5 on the morning line after winning for a $7,500 tag two starts ago and then finishing second at the $10,000-claiming level in his latest start.

Scooter Prize (First Prize Perry-Royal Baby Scooter by A Royale High) and JF Patriot Games (Jet Black Patriot-Call Me Miss Royalty by Call Me Together) comprise the 8-5 favored entry owned by Ana Alvidrez and trained by Martin Trejo.

Scooter Prize was second in the $100,000 Louisiana Champions Day Juvenile (RG2) back in December and won a 300-yard allowance race by a nose on February 11 as the 1-2 favorite.

JF Patriot Games has won her latest four races and comes off a neck score in a $10,000 optional claiming race.
