Viva Mi Corazon, the fastest qualifier this past Sunday for the December 15 Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity (G1), checked in at No. 9 in the latest AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Poll for 2-year-olds. A winner in five of eight starts on the year, including the PCQHRA Breeders’ Futurity (G2), his challengers in the Los Al Two Million final will include this week’s No. 5-rated juvenile Ms First Prize Rose, who qualified second-fastest. The top of the 2-year-old rankings once again this week featured All American Futurity (G1) winner Handsome Jack Flash as the near-unanimous No. 1.

As for the older horses, the top 10 remained unchanged this week with the December 14 Champion of Champions (G1) showdown looming. Eight of this week's top nine horses are expected to compete in the Los Alamitos showcase, including top-ranked Ochoa. The final berth for the prestigious race will be given out in the November 27 Zia Park Championship (G1), which was delayed due to poor weather.
