Sweetwater Deadline July 16

Wyoming meet opens August 18, nominations close July 16.

Sweetwater Downs in Rock Springs, Wyoming, opens August 18 for a four-day meet. It has a nomination deadline of Monday, July 16, for the stakes program, including the $25,000-added Sweetwater Futurity, $12,500-added Derby, $12,500-added 89 & Under Stakes and $7,500-added Claiming Futurity. No management fees will be deducted from the above mentioned stakes races, 100 percent payout back to horsemen.

The stakes book, nomination forms and condition book for the 2012 Sweetwater Downs race meet are now available online at www.wyominghorseracing.com. The meet will run August 18th and 19th as well as September 1st and 2nd and will offer Quarter Horse, Thoroughbred, Appaloosa, Paint and Arabian racing.
