Grade 2 winner and Grade 1-placed The Crawfish will stand the 2013 season at Dr. Leland Prowse's Texas Stud near Beeville. His fee has been set at $1,500.

A son of leading sire Mr Jess Perry, The Crawfish won or placed in 10 of 15 career starts while earning $320,546. He won the Hobbs America Derby (G2), was third in the Rainbow Derby (G1) and was a finalist in the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity (G1) and Golden State Million Futurity (G1).

From a limited number of five starters, The Crawfish has average earnings per starter of $10,980. His get includes UB Crawlin ($29,576 to 3, 2012, 4th Blue River Derby, etc.), JLS Crawfish Pie SI 101 ($18,741 to 3, 4th Old South Derby), Quarter Focus SI 93 ($5,305 at 2, 2012), etc.

His dam, Jukebox Dash, is a Grade 2 stakes-producing daughter of all-time leading sire First Down Dash. She is also the dam of Retama Park Juvenile Invitational (R) finalist Jukebox Zoom SI 94 ($10,731), etc. The second dam, Jukebox Jammin Miss, by Beduino (TB), is the dam of Ruidoso Futurity (G1) finalist Jam Thru Traffic SI 104 ($35,269) and the third dam is the stakes-placed and stakes producing Dash For Cash mare Special Cash Miss ($49,534, 3rd Kindergarten Futurity). She produced Grade 2-placed Back To Cash ($80,444), who was also a finalist in the All American Futurity (G1).
