Shazoom is in Brazil. Bob Moore Farms has sold the 19-year-old stallion by champion Takin On The Cash to a Brazilian partnership including Luciano Baretta. Shazoom will stand on Baretta’s LUB Breeding Ranch in Sao Paulo State.

Bred and raced by Kent Callahan of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Shazoom is one of 63 stakes winners by his sire. Shazoom is out of the winning Keep On Turning mare Keep On Shining, and is a three-quarter brother to the Grade 1-placed First Down Dash son Shining First Dash ($394,422)

Two-time stakes winner Shazoom compiled a record of 22-9-5-3 on the track. He earned $178,606 while winning such races as the 1995 Speedhorse Sprint Futurity (RG3) at Trinity Meadows, where he also finished third in world champion Winalota Cash’s Texas Classic Futurity (G1).

From 707 starters in 11 crops raced, Shazoom has sired 490 winners, including champions Shining Sky and Lett Her Zoom, 55 other stakes winners and the earners of more than $17.6 million. Shazoom also sired Azoom, who has sired the earners of more than $4.1 million.
