Ruidoso Sale Catalogs Mailed

New Mexico-bred sale is set for August 17-18.

The Ruidoso Horse Sale Company announced today that catalogs for the 2012 New Mexico Bred Quarter Horse & Thoroughbred Sale have been mailed.

The two-day event, scheduled for August 17 and 18 in the Ruidoso Horse Sale's Pavilion at Ruidoso Downs, will feature 409 head of Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred yearlings and broodmares.

The sale will begin on Friday and Saturday immediately following the last race at Ruidoso Downs. Trials for the $2.4-million All American Futurity (G1) are scheduled on Thursday, August 16, and the $2-million-est. All American Derby (G1) on Friday, August 17.
