Bradys March Madness blazed a Delta Downs track record on Saturday and was awarded with a spot in this week’s AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Top 10 rankings for the 2-year-olds. The Louisiana Breeders’ Laddie Futurity (RG2) winner earned the No. 9 spot in the latest juvenile poll following his :16.337 performance for 330 yards.

The 2-year-old poll continues to be topped this week by the filly Especially Tres, heroine of the Sam Houston Futurity (G2). The rich final for the $1 million-est. Heritage Place Futurity (G1) this Saturday at Remington Park figures to impact the rankings next week. Meanwhile, the final for the Ruidoso Futurity (G1) is set a week later on June 9.

As for the older horses, unanimous No. 1 Rylees Boy continues to set the pace at the top of the poll. Cold Cash 123 inched closer to the top this week in tight balloting for the No. 2 position over PJ Chick In Black. PJ Chick In Black on Saturday won her non-qualifying trial to the Ruidoso Derby (G1). Cold Cash 123 is expected to defend his title in Saturday’s Remington Park Invitational Championship (G1) and could make a case for the No. 1 perch.

The only newcomer to the Top 10 for older horses this week was Charvet at No. 10, who set the fastest qualifying time for the Ruidoso Derby (G1) in trials last week and in the process established a wind-aided track record of :19.151 for 400 yards.
