There were no significant changes to the AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Top 10 rankings this week, but the gap between No. 1 Cold Cash 123 and No. 2 Ochoa closed by a point in balloting and now stands at 96-94 in favor of the reigning world champion. The entire Top 10 among the older horses remained the same this week.

It is likely to have big moves this weekend, as the Go Man Go Handicap (G1) at Los Alamitos is promising to be a memorable event. Among the horses nominated are world champion Cold Cash 123, No. 3 contender El Aguila Real, No. 7 Rylees Boy and No. 8 Terrific Synergy.

Among the 2-year-old rankings, top-ranked One Dashing Eagle remained a unanimous choice among balloters this week. The poll’s only newcomer was an interesting mover, as Dash For Coronas returned to the races last Saturday at Lone Star Park and returned to the rankings at No. 10. The winner of March’s Oklahoma Futurity (G2) at Remington Park and away from the races since May, Dash For Coronas finished a troubled seventh as the even-money favorite in his Dash For Cash Futurity (G1) trial this past weekend.
