Pollsters tabbed two newcomers to this week’s AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Top 10 rankings, and both A Dream To Remember and Charal Kid landed at No. 7 in their respective polls. A Dream To Remember was the week’s only fresh face in the national 2-year-old rankings, while Charal Kid debuted among the older horses.

A Dream To Remember is a daughter of renowned Louisiana-bred Thoroughbred Hallowed Dreams, who won her first 16 career starts to tie the modern-day consecutive win record. A Dream To Remember captured Sunday’s $299,843 Hobbs America Futurity (G2) at Zia Park for trainer Paul Jones, her third win in seven starts. The top of this week’s juvenile rankings saw no changes, as All American Futurity (G1) winner One Dashing Eagle remains the unanimous No. 1 among pollsters.

As for the older horses, Cold Cash 123 also remains the unanimous No. 1 atop the rankings. But Charal Kid made it back into the discussion this week following Saturday’s 16-1 upset win in the Refrigerator Handicap G1) at Lone Star Park. The 13-time stakes winner earned a berth into the $750,000 Champion of Champions (G1) at Los Alamitos via the score in the Refrigerator Handicap, which included defeating champion JLS Mr Bigtime, who slipped to No. 8 after his fourth-place run in Texas.
