NM Seeks Additional Funding

New Mexican budgets seek increased funding for New Mexico Racing Commission.

Proposed budgets from New Mexican governor Susana Martinez and the state's Legislative Finance Committee are asking for increased funding for the New Mexico Racing Commission to increase testing and enforcement.

The governor's budget asks for an increase of $750,000 while the finance committee recommended an $362,400 increase for the upcoming fiscal year.
