A lucky Les Bois Park race fan has won $236,000 since the Turf Club Bar and Grill simulcast facility at Les Bois Park reopened in January 2012. The lucky winner wagered amounts between $24 upward to a little over $300 on Del Mar and Santa Anita race tracks in California which resulted in big payoffs. The winner does not wish to be identified.

The wagers were placed on four separate occasions using a Pick 6 exotic wager. 
  •   January 7, 2012 - Wager on Santa Anita - Winning $105,000
  •   July 18, 2012– Wager – Del Mar – Winning $40,000
  •   July 20, 2012 – Wager – Del Mar – Winning $55,000
  •   July 26, 2012 – Wager – Del Mar – Winning $36,000  

The “Pick  6” wager consists of “picking” the winners of six consecutive races on a particular day offered for a particular set of races. The wager must occur prior to the first leg of the first race. Under Idaho law, large winnings must be reported to the Internal Revenue Service but do not have to be reported publicly.

The Turf Club Bar & Grill is a full service restaurant and bar open weekly on Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. It offers full simulcast racing, and Les Bois hosts five more days of live horse racing this year, including August 1, 4, 8, 10 and the Idaho Cup on August 11th. 

General admission for adults is $5 which now includes a racing program. All teens and children 17 and under will receive free admission this year and families are welcomed. Parking is always free. Patio, Box Seat and Turf Club table reservations are available.
