KQHRA Stallion Auction, Banquet Set for Dec. 8

Stem cell research presentation scheduled in addition to auction and awards.

The 34th annual Kansas Quarter Horse Racing Association Stallion Service Auction and Banquet will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012, at the Best Western Airport Inn and Convention Center at 6815 West Kellogg in Wichita.

The banquet will begin at 5:00 p.m. (CST) with an awards ceremony to follow. At 6:00 p.m., Dr. Preston Hickman, DVM, will present a PowerPoint presentation on stem cell research related to animals.

The annual Stallion Service Auction will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. A list of 2013 stallion services to be offered can be found on the KQHRA website at www.kqhra.com.

Horsemen can also contact Osborn about the $100 nomination fee for foals of 2011 to become eligible for the $45,000-added 2013 Kansas Jackpot Futurity due January 15.
