Indiana Reschedules Races

Indiana stakes trials rescheduled for June 18-19.

Originally scheduled for last week, trials to the $75,000-added Indiana Grand QHRAI Derby and the $75,000-added Heartland Futurity have been rescheduled for Monday, June 18, and Tuesday, June 19.

The trial cancellation late last week followed a directive from the Indiana Horse Racing Commission to cancel racing at the track on Friday and Saturday (June 15-16) to investigate a formal complaint by the IHBPA Association alleging "Dangerous" track conditions. The IHBPA represents the Thoroughbred breed exclusively, not Quarter Horses.

Four races (races 10-13) will be conducted over 350 yards for the Indiana Grand QHRAI Derby on Monday. Four races (races 10 -13) will conducted over 300 yards for the Heartland Futurity on Tuesday night.
