Heritage Place Fall Mixed Catalogs have been mailed and are also available for download to your iPad, go to www.heritageplace.com.

The sale is offering 900 head for the November 1-3, beginning at 10:00 a.m. each day.

On the evening preceding the sale, Heritage Place and TRACK Magazine will present the 2nd annual A Night With The Legends of American Quarter Horse Racing. Scheduled to appear on stage in the Heritage auditorium on the evening of Wednesday, October 31, are the retired jockeys Bobby Adair, Danny Cardoza, Jerry Nicodemus, Charley Smith, Don Allison, Kenny Hart, Curt Perner, Tomey Swan, Jerry  Burgess, James Lackey and Tami Purcell. G.R. Carter, Jr., American Quarter Horse racing’s all-time leading rider, will emcee the event.

A pre-sale party will begin at 5 p.m., and the Legends event will start at 6 p.m.

In addition to the usual good selection of weanlings, yearlings, horses of racing age, broodmares, stallions and stallion prospects, this edition of the Fall Mixed Sale will also feature a major consignment offered through the United States Department of the Treasury’s Seized & Forfeited General Property Program.  We are very excited about the quality of this offering. All of these horses are in good condition and have been in excellent care and I think everyone will be pleased with how these horses are presented.  All paperwork is in order and the horses are being sold under the same conditions as all other consignments in the sale.

On Thursday, November 1, before the First Session of the horse sale, an exclusive offering of vintage American Quarter Horse art will feature an original painting by American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame member Orren Mixer of Barbara L, Miss Meyers and Cuter Yet along with her foal. The two mares featured in the four horse painting are members of the AQHA Hall Of Fame and were owned by A. B. Green of Purcell, Oklahoma.

Also selling Friday morning will be the No. 1 bronze of AQHA Hall of Fame race horse Easy Jet done by sculptor Don Hersberger and a painting of AQHA Hall of Fame race horse Special Effort by artist Suzanne Wamsley.  Both are very nice pieces and provide you with a rare opportunity to own a piece of history from two of the American Quarter Horse Association’s All Time Leading Sires and Broodmare Sire’s List.
