Florida Stallion Service Auction open through January 5.

The Florida Quarter Horse Racing Association's annual stallion service auction is open online. The final bid on each stallion will be accepted on January 5 at 7 p.m. eastern time.

There are several Grade 1 stallions in the auction. All the foals born in 2014 by the stallions that sell in the 2013 stallion service auction will be eligible for the 350-yard, 2016 FQHRA Stallion Stakes Futurity. This race has been near $95,000 the last two years.
