The strength of One Dashing Eagle’s dominating Ed Burke Million Futurity (G1) victory sunk in with pollsters this week, who moved the juvenile to the top spot in this week’s AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com national top 10 poll for 2-year-olds. He supplants Ruidoso Futurity (G1) winner PJ Chick In Black atop the rankings this week after trailing by a single point last week. PJ Chick In Black bypassed Tuesday’s Rainbow Futurity (G1) trials in order to prepare for the trials for the All American Futurity (G1) in August.

The balance of the 2-year-old rankings remained firm, as did the top half of the poll for the horses aged 3 and older. World champion Cold Cash 123 continues as the unanimous No. 1-ranked older horse in the land this week. Wednesday’s Rainbow Derby (G1) trials could have an impact on the 3-year-old and older rankings in the coming week.
