Dash Glory Ease defeated fastest qualifier Splash Refuge on February 11 in the $104,700 (US) Bank of America South American Challenge Championship at the Sao Paulo Jockey Club race course, earning the first invite to the $350,000 Bank of America Challenge Championship (G1) to be run at Prairie Meadows on October 27.

Dash Glory Ease, by Holland Ease out of the Thoroughbred mare Medvedev, by Minstreal Glory, dueled with Splash Refuge all the way to finish to win by a neck. His time of :21.47 seconds was a 100 speed index for the 440 yards. Windy Ease Colt finished 3 ½ lengths back in the show position. 

Dash Glory Ease is a 4-year-old homebred for Haras Fazenda Bela. J. Sampaio saddled the winner with J.A. Gomes riding.
Sergio Reinaldo Gimenez Silveira owns Splash Refuge, a Splash Bac horse out of Press The Track, by Holland Ease. A.R. Lima rode the 7-year-old for trainer L. Vasquez.

Windy Ease Colt, also by Holland Ease, is owned by Haras JC and trained by J. Sampaio. M. Praxedes rode the 5-year-old out of Streaker Filly, by Ronas Ryon.

Completing the field were Paradise Special, Da Vince Brat and Jess Set Free.
