Bob Baffert Recovering from Heart Attack

Former Quarter Horse trainer recovering after heart attack.

Trainer Bob Baffert, 59, is recovering after a heart attack early Monday morning in Dubai, according to the Daily Racing Form.

The trainer had stents inserted into two arteries, according to Bernie Schiappa, a co-owner of Thoroughbred Game On Dude, who is scheduled to run on Saturday in the $10 million Dubai World Cup.

The trainer, who was a successful Quarter Horse trainer before moving to Thoroughbreds, can be heard in a video included in the Daily Racing Form story.
