Race Record: Starting a full card of All American Derby trials off with a strong race, BPs Jumpin Frisco defeated Linda Tee Fire and Lotta Love For Robyn to post the fastest qualifying time. The gelding was a finalist in the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity (G1) and this year was third in the Heritage Place Derby (G2) and Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Derby (R).

Breeder/Owner: Bill Price is based in Thackerville, Oklahoma. Price’s horses have won 166 of 1,014 starts and earned more than $3.5 million. They include homebred champion A Real Man ($308,819), as well as Grade 1 winner Ima Ladys Alibi ($115,678). Price also bred All American Futurity qualifier BP Cartels Alibi ($452,335), who is out of a daughter of Ima Ladys Alibi. In 20  years, he has bred the earners of more than $6.7 million. Among them are Southern Takes All ($369,093) and A Snowy Cartel ($316,925).

Trainer: BPs Jumpin Frisco is one of two horses qualified by trainer Eddie Willis, the other being A Toss Up. Willis since 1977 has trained the earners of more than $19.3 million, with 1,174 wins in 7,213 starts. Among his trainees are Grade 1 winners Ragazzo, Southern Takes All, Streakin Down, Outdashing, Redman Running, A Real Man and Oak Tree Special.

Qualifying Jockey: Since 1984, Jimmy Dean Brooks has won 1,041 races in 7,950 starts, including 35 stakes wins. His mounts have earned $10,458,460 and include Grade 1 winners Flying Dino (1998 Remington Park Futurity), Streakin Down (2010 Texas Classic Derby) and Chick On The Take (1999 Ruidoso Futurity).

Pedigree: Sire Jumpn was 12-times in the top 3 in 20 career starts, with earnings of $187,555. His stakes appearances include a win in the Los Alamitos Million Juvenile Invitational (RG3), and second place runs in the Grade 1 Kindergarten Futurity and Golden State Derby. From four crops to race, Jumpn has sired the earners of more than $1.2 million. Jumpn stands at Hart Farms in Kaplan, Louisiana.

BPs Jumpin Frisco is a half brother to champion A Real Man (by Heza Fast Man, $308,819) and six-figure earner Thats The Man (by Heza Fast Man, $107,709). A daughter of Dash For Cash, Frisco Fling has produced 10 winners from 14 starters with earnings of more than $1 million. In addition to top racehorses, Frisco Fling also produced the Disco Jerry (TB) gelding Discos Dash, who was a reserve world champion in pole bending at the AQHA World Championship Show.
