Julie T. Chapman

"I depict today's Wild West -- wildlife, horses and rodeo -- with contemporary flair and enjoy using color and drama in my work. Places such as Yellowstone and Montana's small-town rodeos provide plenty of fodder for artistic inspiration -- and recently I made my first African journey, which has inspired a love affair with that continent's fabulous wildlife," says Julie T. Chapman.

Her work has been included in many U.S. and international exhibitions, such as Birds in Art, the C.M. Russell auction and Western Visions. Recent career highlights include being juried into the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year show in London; a five-artist/five-sculptor invitation, "Wild West -- Beauty of the Beast" at the Rockwell Museum in New York; and winning the 2011 Best of Show (Flatwork) at the Calgary Stampede Art Auction.

Her work is shown in galleries around the West. To learn more, please visit www.JulieTChapman.com or find her on Facebook.
