Celebrate the Horse by enjoying activities inspired by the new exhibit, Orren Mixer: Artist of the American Quarter Horse at the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum which will be held on March 23, 2013 during normal business hours, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Featured activities:

10:00 am – noon

• Horseplay – children can learn how to sculpt a horse, how to create a horse puppet or enjoy coloring activities
• Artist Demonstration - during the morning artist demonstration, get your quetions answered about painting an equine master piece from artist Jack Sorenson

2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

• Riding Demonstrations – learn from the Pro's about tack, English and Western style riding and watch or see how all the different types of roping techniques are put to use ^{*weather permitted}
• Artist Demonstration - during the afternoon artist demonstration, ask artist Edgar Sotelo about different painting techniques used to paint portraits of a horse
