The 2012 Battle in the Saddle offers a full slate of classes; view the event's schedule here.
With cutting, barrel racing, ranch remuda, cowboy mounted shooting, roping, ranch pleasure, working cow horse and Versatility Ranch Horse classes, the 2012 Battle in the Saddle is looking to be a jam-packed week of western-event competition.
Wait, we forgot to mention that Battle in the Saddle, at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City, is also home to the 2012 Merial Ranch Sorting National Championships, which will see nearly 5,000 teams vying for championship titles. Add in the Mercuria-National Cutting Horse Association World Series of Cutting tour, third annual World's Greatest Horseman Shootout competition, plus eye-opening performances by "Outlaw" Annie Bianco-Ellett in cowboy mounted shooting and 2012 Road to the Horse winner Guy McLean, and you can see why this is hailed as the Great American Western Horse Showdown.
