Youth in Action

Opportunities abound for horse-interested kids and the AQHYA blog, Youth in Action, chronicles those ventures.

Claire and Laura Streeter
Sisters Claire and Lauren Streeter of Cheyenne, Wyoming, met nearly every 2013 Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show attendee thanks to the state-pin exchange.

Leadership skills, everlasting friendships, the chance to become a better horseman and scholarship opportunities are just a handful of the immeasurable benefits to being an involved AQHYA member

To celebrate the countless prospects AQHYA has to offer, the Youth in Action blog catalogs the tribulations of life as an AQHYA member. By youth and for youth, Youth in Action is published on a weekly basis.

If you're an AQHYA member and you would like to become a Youth in Action blogger, contact Manager of AQHYA Robin Alden at ralden@aqha.org.
